Notes

    There is ink at the far right edge of the line. It probably does not belong to this text (it was not mentioned in the ed.pr.), but is residual writing from a document that served as the source of the papyrus that was used for the delivery note. It is not indicated in the transcription.

  • 3.

    The text here is laconic. Contrary to expectation, no mention is made of a commodity (unless we are talking about delivery of an empty jar?). P.Got 15, a deliver notice of wine, seems to represent a slightly fuller example of the same kind of document.
